Seiva comes from resin and pays homage to the profession of resin maker. The profession of chef David Jesus' father and grandfather.

It's in the roots that strength arises, it's in the stem that it develops, it's in the leaves that it expresses itself... it's the sap that carries, fuses and powers the whole!

Seiva is a restaurant of a world cuisine, creative and with attitude, with plants as its creative base. Our entire creative base is of vegetable origin and it is in the search for the best vegetable of the season that we create our proposal.

David Jesus, born in Setúbal, raised between the river Sado and the Arrábida mountains. Young, dynamic, creative, genuine, with a great attitude and a will to win. His professional experience includes spells at Feitoria, Fortaleza do Guincho, Quique Dacosta, DiverXO and Frantzen. All of these restaurants are highly regarded on the world gastronomic scene and have been featured in the Michelin Guide and the 50th Best Restaurants. David is passionate about life, nature and everything he feels and makes you feel. This free-spirited young man feels that his great mission is to create experiences, finding through his passion - cooking - the link between his identity and the world. More than the banner of the product and producers, the chef believes that his true mission is to connect people through something that goes beyond memory, beyond experience. Something that really lives in everyday life! The chef and owner of the Seiva brand felt the need to get closer and express something he feels and makes him feel, and so this concept was born. "Seiva is part of the journey, it's not the starting point or the finish line, it's a driving force of expression and connection!"
